A partner at Eisner Advisory Group in New York City, William Timlen, CPA, focuses on the tax aspects of real estate partnerships as a member of the Firm's Real Estate Services Group and Private Client Services Group. He reviews economic agreements and determines profit and loss allocations and distributions. Additionally, he provides tax consulting and planning to real estate clients and high-net-worth individuals. William Timlen also lends his time and expertise to the Real Estate Group Leadership Committee, where he focuses on mapping the group’s direction, which includes considering thought leadership paths and new business development. William spends considerable time working to drive new business opportunities for the group and to draw new talent to the firm.

Previously William Timlen served as tax principal for Friedman, LLP, where he worked with large multi-national real estate and development companies as well as professional service firms and high-net-worth individuals. Before starting his career, he attended Providence College in Rhode Island, earning a BS in accounting. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with family, exercising, and golfing.
